1. Manager / Executive, Compliance


The Manager / Executive of Compliance is responsible for monitoring and reporting results of the compliance/ethics efforts of the company and in providing guidance for the management team on matters relating to compliance, and to implement all necessary actions to ensure achievement of the objectives of an effective compliance program.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law / Finance / Accounting / Business Administration / Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 / 3 years of related experience preferable gained in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • High level of competency in general compliance and regulatory.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Flexible to undertake assignments independently and/or with team involvements.

Requirements:

  • Manages, coordinate, monitor and advice implementation of compliance activities and internal control system reviews for UMW Oil & Gas.
  • Develops initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of Compliance related matters and its activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Manages day-to-day operation of Compliance related matters.
  • Develops and periodically reviews and updates Code of Conduct to ensure continuing relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
  • Develops program to ensure the adoption of UMW Oil & Gas policies and procedures such as FLAG etc. in UMW Oil & Gas and its subsidiaries and to advise on the issues associated to above.
  • Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Risk Management, Internal Audit, Employee Services, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consults with the Legal/ HR/ Management Whistleblowing Committee as needed to resolve difficult compliance issues.
  • Responds to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.  Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of such violations.
  • Acts as an independent reviewer and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues / concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.


2. Executive Human Capital


The Executive of Human Capital is responsible for the planning and execution of training and competency system and the movement of employees/crew.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess Bachelor Degree in Human Resource or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience (preferably in any oil & gas sector).
  • Work requires good written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English.
  • Proficient in Words / Excel / Powerpoint.

Requirements:

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of company training and competency system.
  • Maintain the Company’s Training and Competency Matrix.
  • Maintain competency matrix database and liaise with related department to ensure employees attend courses approved in accordance with the company’s requirement.
  • Research and propose suitable training providers.
  • Prepare and submit monthly training report.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Finance on the issuance and closure of purchase orders, invoice processing and verification and payment to the training providers.
  • Organize and monitor crew change schedule.
  • Plan and organize travel arrangement includes preparation of itinerary, flight booking visa and work permit for crew during the crew change.
  • Communicate with crews to inform them on crew change schedule.
  • Compile, check and prepare travel, petty cash, meal allowance claims for crews and Operation staff.
  • Check validity, record, compile and raise payment requisition for all invoices received from travel agents and hotels.
  • Maintain appropriate filing system by documenting systematically all relevant documents for easy retrieval and secure manner.

3. Executive, Software Developer


The Executive, System Developer is responsible to provide support and to build logic programming as part of the system development team to meet company’s business requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with various levels of people to define system requirements and make recommendation for IT system implementation and enhancement.
  • Responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures.
  • Identify opportunities that can drive functional improvement and efficiency of the existing system.
  • Strong business skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and occasionally modifying systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support application systems.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements as stated in Business Requirements Document (GUI, Screen and Interface designs etc).
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret end-user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirement.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software project and initiatives to support and enhance our existing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Database Structure/Queries and have some experiences in the development and implementation of multi-user system.Investigates and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of our existing systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned related to the job from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent education and/ or work experience.Having at least 3 – 5 years of experience in System Development.
  • At least 2 – 3 years system development using Microsoft Visual Studios 2012/2013/2015
  • Solid experience in application MVC framework
  • Exposure in financial System and process and procurement process is an advantages.
  • Technical hands-on and experience in multi-tier web application design and development.
  • Required skills on C#, Vb.net, Web Services, Javascipts, Jquery, Knockout and MVC framework.
  • Preferred to have skill in Web design and familiar with bootstrap 3.0 or above.
  • Have a good knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 or above.
  • Have experience in SSRS (SQL server reporting services) is an added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and team player.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL DB Command.
  • Able to interact with all levels of people.
  • Good analytical Skills.
  • Problem Solving Skills.


4. Manager Human Capital


The Manager of Human Capital is responsible for managing and developing full spectrum of Human Capital functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Competent business partner to line managers in delivering effective HR and administrative solutions on matters pertaining to workforce planning, talent and competency management, crew administration and industrial / employee relations.
  • Roll-out employment-related initiatives such as Code of Business Ethics, performance management improvements, workforce productivity improvements, working conditions, Business Acumen and engagement surveys, and managing disciplinary procedures.
  • Manage disputes and grievances of employees.
  • Monitor labour legislation, communicate updated changes & review to SBUs to ensure compliance.
  • Analyse, recommend and prepare related HR monthly reporting, proposals, policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Posses Bachelor Degree in Human Resource of equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years related working experience or exposure in upstream Oil & Gas advantageous.
  • A generalist with good exposure in full spectrum of Human Resources.
  • Good knowledge and exposure in employment legislations and practices.
  • Team player, pleasant disposition.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels of employees.
